National Healing Conference &lllaos;Using The Arts As A Tool To Heal&lllaos;

Announcing our first National Healing Conference and Survivor Art Exhibit to be held June 12-14, 1998 at the Marriott Hotel in Des Moines, Iowa. Keynote Speaker is MARILYN VAN DEBUR, former Miss America 1958, survivor of incest. Theme of conference is "Using The Arts As a Tool To Heal". Call for art work to be exhibited done by survivors of all types of abuse. Any medium, paintings, drawings, sculptures, poetry, other creative writing, and performing arts such as dance, etc.
Still looking for speakers/presenters for workshops and presentations. Target audience: Survivors and all professionals who work with them.
Looking for planning committee members, sponsors, speakers, artists, people to advertise in conference booklet.
