ATR considering LPC

Hi, I'm an art therapist from Columbus, Ohio. I have be registered and board certified for about 6 years. While living in Chicago I enjoyed a full-time art therapy job...now that i reside in Cols. I am finding it very difficult to find gainful employment as a art therapist. I have a great deal of experience, yet many of the available jobs require an MSW. I have been out of the field for the past two years due to the birth and loss of my first son. So, I am wondering if other cities and states are also seeing a decrease in art therapy positions? or is it just due to some other reason. I'm wondering if anyone on this on-line group has had any experience with the LPC..path?
