you were thinking with your heart...

I can hear your compassion, your frustration and dedication. I can't even imagine how heart wrenching working with kids must be. I get the kids 10 years later when they have have been diagnosed with schizophrenia and personality disorders. The horror stories I hear from them go back to when they were kids. I so often wish I had been there at the time...but then, like you, I doubt there is little that can be done when the system is set up like ours. Hang in there...but take care of yourself.
