Art Therapy and the Hearing Impaired
Susan Mann · 2/28/97 at 8:36 PM ET

I am currently going back to school to pursue an Art Education degree, and I am interested in the fields of Art Therapy and teaching the Hearing-Impaired. Unfortunately, there is little information on teaching Art to the Deaf or Art Therapy in relation to the Hearing-Impaired. I am interested in talking to professionals to get a sense of the practical applications of an Art Therapy degree in the real world: the opportunities available, the difference between an Art Ed/Therapy degree as opposed to an Art Therapy degree, and those individuals that specialize in working with the Deaf including the course of study that should be pursued. I can be reached at "Smileymann@aol.com"
