art student needs help desperately!

Hi, I'm a student in Manchester (U.K) planning to write a dissertation on art therapy/psychotherapy from a `how people use art to express themselves' point of view. I want to find out how art therapy is used in particular cases, and whether the art is a subject of analysis concerning the patient's emotions or if the art is `used' as an instrument in the patient's recovery. Any information, useful book/website titles and addresses would be extremely useful, aswell as advice on what other angles I could take on the subject to write a primarily art based dissertation on art therapy. thanks for your time!
