I am concerned about one of my art students who's
drawings have reflected quite a bit of violence.
I'll explain in detail: Drawings always depict blood,
dismembered body parts, rejection, razor blades,
knives (sharp objects), brain exposed, pieces of flesh.
I would like to approach the parent about my concern
but would like to validate this concern with some
concrete research that may have been done concerning
this behavior. I'd appreciate any input you may be
able to offer or resources that could help me with
this situation. Thanks.
