The best source to date Freud's potential use of the term "inferiority complex" would NOT be in a book devoted to Adler's ideas and theories. That is hardly impartial research . . . LOL!

The best source would be in books about Freud . . . as I'm not a psychotherapist or psychologist or psychiatrist, I have no such books.

Also note: Whether Freud was interested in Adler because of "organ inferiority," there is hardly a direct link to Adler's using and developing the term "inferiority complex" -- especially as Adler seemed to shy away from "complexes," considering them too medical/biological and not allowing for "creativity." The "complex" is much more a Freudian construct . . .

    Sincerely, Jay H
