    thank you for going beyond the simplistic and value-laden dead end judgement of laziness. Most often, there is something behind the "laziness" that can cause poor concentration or other seemingly oppositional behavior. Another possibility for poor concentration would be ADD, which causes a host of behavioral problems that cause an individual to be out of sync with others. A big problem with ADD is that the individual is often viewed as lazy by others, usually those in an authority or evaluative position, which reinforces a person's sense of inferiority. ADD'ers usually have moments or areas of intellectual brilliance, which leads linear thinkers to believe that the individual is just not applying himself. How would Adler approach this issue?
