    Exhausting perhaps, Useless not necessarily. An adult striving for maturity must needs struggle to bring language to his or her experience. The most morally and spiritually mature work these things out in dialog with one another. I believe Adler said something like: "To see with the eyes of another, to hear with the ears of another, to feel with another's heart, this may describe social interest"

    Good luck with your studies.

    Hopefully things will appear quite different to you in six or seven years! Keep at it!
