    Re:Inferiority Feelings in the Neonatal Period?

    A provocative question, and a topic worthy of further discussion. Considering the limited cognitive development at that stage, a "belief" seems unlikely. However, a pervasive "feeling" about the early physical/emotional experience might well be formulated. If you want to push the developmental question back even further, it could be instructive to read "The Secret Life of the Unborn Child," by Thomas Verney. Admissibly controversial, he explores possible influences during pregnancy and birth.
