Hey Bruce,

There is an interesting book out through Jamie Aebersold publishing called "Effortless Mastery." The book was written and performed by an exquisite jazz pianist. One of his mantras is "Every note I play is the most beautiful sound I've ever heard." His intention is to increase focus on the joy of producing music and simultaneously decrease focus on "getting it right."
