Smile Welcome to the Cognitive Therapy Forum

Welcome to the Behavior OnLine Forum on Cognitive Therapy! This Forum provides mental health professionals and grad students with an opportunity to discuss a wide range of topics related to the practice of Cognitive Therapy. We discuss topics ranging from the "nuts and bolts" of Cognitive Therapy to the latest developments in theory and research.

You don't have to be experienced in Cognitive Therapy to participate. In fact, you don't even have to be a fan of Cognitive Therapy. Skeptics and critics are welcome as well, we hope to continue having lively discussions.

When disagreeing with someone else's post, try to express your views with a reasonable level of courtesy and respect. No "flame wars" will be permitted. Abusive posts will be deleted promptly.

In posting clinical information, be sure to remember that this is a public forum. If you use case examples in your posts, be sure to use pseudonyms and to change any potentially identifying information in order to preserve confidentiality. Also, remember that even though this forum is intended for mental health professionals, nonprofessionals often find their way in.
