Exclamation There's a prevalent delusion among..

At appointment #1, when my therapist said, "Have your previous psychiatrist (circa 1983) forward his records of you to me", I answered with:

No, that wouldn't be in my best interest Doc, because the man was delusional. He actually claimed to know something about my eternal soul ...based solely on some ancient dusty pieces of paper forwarded by some previous charlatan; who by the way coincidentally suffered from the exact same delusion.

...so find a therapist who believes as you do that nothing is gained from historical accounts of your problems. You should have a wealth of resources as many therapists today are forward looking rather than past focused (e.g. solution focused, strategic, Ericksonian, narrative etc.).

Also it might be helpful to realize that in general psychiatrist's have nothing to do with therapy these days. They only provide medication and are focused on Newtonian mechanistic ideas rather than post Newtonian interactional and cooperative realities.

You're intimating that things are different now. That's hardly exonneration. Psych condemns gay bashers, right? 'Was a time not long ago when psych professionals were themselves gay bashers. Prior to 1972 homosexuality was deemed mental illness. And back when slavery was legal, it was deemed 'mental illness' for a slave to desire freedom. Yeah. And shrinks have a long and rich history of human rights abuse.

Sure, you can argue that things are slightly different now, but it doesn't negate the fact that the Psych profession has a history of incompetence, a history of filthy misbehavior, a history of villifying innocent folks, a history of spiritual illness ie. readily embracing whatever dastardly beliefs come down the pike from the prevailing regime and incorporating those prejudices into a sham under the guise of Medicine.

...Yeah and doctors used to use leaches so do you dislike medical professionals also? If attacking the psychology profession helps you, go ahead and continue because it is an interesting argument.

Keep it pithy.

Many wonder where all those voices ('people who hear voices') originate. Well Doc, 40 or 50 lifetimes ago you were likewise indoctrinated, but you just don't recollect because you've long since been assimilated. Into what? Oh, the Devil, Jesus, Darkness, the Borg, Shamanism, whathaveyou... one repulsive hive mind or another, a fixation for your passions and vessel for your transmigration, bypassing the actual Grim Reaper, heavy tolls paid to deviltry at each passage -- which is why there's abundant evil on Earth. Oh there's Good too?? Yeah, we live longer now so we're top heavy with lecherous old coots, pedophile priests and worse: lechery/molestation has migrated into the overmind. The End is near, oh yes... just 6 days and 6 years and 6 days from this posting, per arcane reckoning.
