Default Leadership and the use of Questions

I am looking for any reseach or information on the effect of leaders being more successful using questions rather than telling. Can anyone help me directionaly?

I have found the use of Solution Focused therapy type approach to work best. The use of exceptions, hypotheticals, how people have solved problems in the past etc works literally wonders with staff and superiors as well

You may want to look up Appreciative Inquiry as a Leadership Process that uses questions to generate ideas and solutions
