Default When is Meditation Contraindicated?

Are there certain kinds of clients, or certain kinds of problems where meditation would not be useful? Can you think of any situations where it would actually make things worse?

Thanks so much for your response. I'll check out the resources you've listed. I'm sure I need to do some more reading in this field, but I wanted to check something out: You say that meditation raises the level of serotonine-level in the brain. Can you point me to some research that backs that up? I'm fascinated.

Thanks,
Ben.

I think that if you look to early posted comments you will find that Dr. Spira has addressed this question. What you don't ask is if there are different types of meditations that might be used for different purposes. Dr. Spira also addresses this, and I think that this will answer your question more fully too.

Well, there are many things that are very important for us to know as, this will definitely going to help as, we should know what can be the better alternatives that will be helpful as, I know that meditation is not applied in every case.

Thanks

I just called my cell about Paul today and had a long discussion. He next will be writing newspaper articles related to this thread.
