Default Milton Erickson's strategy for study

I read in a book that at some day, Milton Erickson had to study to pass a statistics test, and he doesnt like to study statistics.
So, what he did was he just get the book and go looking to the pages, and did this to all pages,by 7 days, and when the test cames he was succed
I dont know if this story is true, but if it is, there is something else about it that Milton Erickson has sayd who can help those who want to do the same?
This strategy looks like photoreading a lot, but i am not sure if Erickson didnt make something else in his mind, because he had dyslexia, and those who have dyslexia are very visuals.

Sadly, I can't say that he ever talked to me about that. Perhaps Dr. Zeig knows this one.
