Erickson story
I'm writing a paper and recall a story where Erickson is referred a teacher who believes he is a spy and this behavior has interfered with his work (ie. snooping around the school etc.) Erickson states that a good spy would go undetected, curbing the problematic behavior. Does anyone remember this story? Can someone remind me where I read it? Thanks.

Re: Erickson story
I seem to recall that being Bandler and Grinder in one of the early NLP books. Maybe "Frogs into Princes..." If it wasn't in one of their early books, then it might have been in Rosen's/Erickson's "My Voice Will Go with You." Hope that helps some.

Re: Erickson story
Or it might have been "Reframing." But I think it was "Frogs into Princes."

Re: Erickson story
I do not know of this story...please be advised that there are a number of individuals, many whom are not even mental health professionals claiming to teach and 'certify' others in 'Ericksonian Hypnosis.' There are no controls or enforcements available or possible for that sort of activity. As a result many distortions occur and attributions are made that are erroneous. I suggest you read the Collected Papers by Erickson/Rossi and Haley's Uncommon Therapy if you want a nearly comprehensive and accurate understanding of what Dr. Erickson did do and did say.
