Default erection anxiety

Hi,
Any thoughts on how to treat a young adult suffering from a constant fear of having an erection in public. This thought itself usually brings one upon him. I have only met him once so far so I don't have a very in depth perspective about him, OCD sounds like a strong possibility.
Paradoxical strategies such as 'prescribing the symptom' came to mind though I have personally never used these. Notwithstanding my intention to complete a more thorough evaluation, I would be interested in hearing insights and experiences from others having encountered similar phenomenon, as well as indications and counter-indications for using such methods.
thanks!
