Labor Day 2007: Eggs that will Hatch
Breznitz (2001) described two ways to defeat an immune system: 1) overwhelm it from the first moment, 2) enter slowly, become recognized as a "friendly," and then take over...
1) A Mexican lady, here illegally, claimed sanctuary in a Chicago church and stayed inside for about a year. She then left for a demonstration in LA, was arrested, and deported. Meanwhile, her son, now eight years old, is a US citizen. She sent him back to Chicago to be supervised by is godmother and in time to enroll in school. God parents, of course, are to ensure spiritual growth... 2) Luis called in to a talk show. He's from Mexico but joined the US Military. "George Bush paid me $20,000 to fight in Iraq and will make me a citizen." Then I can stay here and "...repatriate my lands..." American now is home for two masses of angry brown males - planted, fertilized, and watered - by a generation of angry brown females, and to rise up later as they have in Europe.
