Congratulations, Stephen Lankton...
If my copy is accurate, it appears that this month marks the 25th anniversary of your "Foreward" to "Practical Magic." Congrats on the upcoming quarter century mark of that work!

Re: Congratulations, Stephen Lankton...
Thanks! Practical Magic has been reprinted with a new forward that summarizes the past and establishes some perspective on the book and NLP past and present (in my opinion, of course). The new publisher is Crowne House. They are doing a great job of advertising it. (Hey, Brunner/Routledge are you listening?).

Re: Congratulations, Stephen Lankton...
Mr Lankton, now that Pratical Magic has been around for 25 years, did the NLP guys give you "Master Trainer Elite Squared - The All Knowing One" certification?
Congrats on the book. John |

Re: Congratulations, Stephen Lankton...
Nope. In the original dust jacket, Grinder had written something like: "Stephen Lankton, one of the original trainers,..." and I had him change it "trainers" to "students" way back in the day. I didn't want to ever be accused of 'taking advantage' of my connection to that bourgeoning empire while being disconnected from it almost totally over the years. It seemed like the only fair way to handle things.

Re: Congratulations, Stephen Lankton...
Mr Lankton,
I think that in trying to be clever, my joke did not have its intended effect. I was trying to slyly mock many of the current NLP guys, but not the original players like Grinder, that use a plethora of titles to give credence to their disciples. I was not referring to your experience with Grinder and hope that you did not take offense to my humor. |

No problem, absolutely no offense taken. Not to worry.
