Too Far
A patient of mine, whom I've been seeing for almost a year, went too far in one of our sessions. How do you help someone who obviously needed if he doesn't know where to draw the line? If I show him the door then the same thing will probably happen to someone else and the wheel will just keep on turning.

Re: Too Far
Very difficult to make any comment without knowing what "too far" means. Too far in what way?

Re: Too Far
Is it that the patient does not know or is it that (s)he knows and is crossing boundaries? How can you protect yourself and your patient(s) by being more cognizant of your boundaries and what to do when they are violated?
