Trevor, I like this idea that common sense is composed of the set of "acceptable" movements within a social realm. This means that there are extremes at each end, extremes of being too self-centred...

I would say, George, that sometimes it can be confirmed that some facts related in ERs do or did not exist, but that in general there is no way to verify that the way an ER is reported in not...

actually, it fits with it precisely. That's why I say there is no chance of verifying that a memory is distorted. There is no objective point of view to which to compare anyone's early memories,...

George, if Adler is correct, there is no way to verify that early memories are distorted or even a selection. There is no possibility of bringing forth evidence to prove that events didn't happen...

George, how about starting simple? Make some kind of claim to which others can respond, and then see how it goes. Perhaps make aclaim of one sentence or one idea, and see what comes of it.... ...
