EMDR and Allergies

Hi. Was wondering if anyone here has successfully used EMDR to treat allergies. Haven't seen anything like that in the literature, but would it be possible?

Re: EMDR and Allergies

I know Katie O'Shea has theorized that allergies are sometimes related to early trauma/attachment/developmental issues. She has developed a very clever protocol to clear early trauma even in the absence of explicit memory. It is a several step process that contains, strengthens, holds the person as they dip back into early felt sense of injury, disappointment, etc. She and I presented her protocol in Dallas last September at EMDRIA.

She believes on the base of anecdotal case material that some cases of allergies can be improved with clearing early material.
