the 7 year itch - MA thesis

I am presently reading an MA degree in Gestalt Psychotherapy. I would like to conduct a research on how individuals experience the 7 year itch - in marriage.

Can anyone reccomend any literature reading with regards to the above, as it seems to be very limited in Gestalt.
