Erickson/Gilligan
I am working on a review of Stephen Gilligan's practice of psychotherapy as Neo-Ericksonian approach. Is anyone aware of any resources/commentary that might be helpful?

Re: Erickson/Gilligan
Hi Norman,
If you are writing a review, then I assume that you have read Dr. Gilligan's books: "Therapeutic Trances," "The Courage to Love," The Legacy of Milton H. Erickson Selected Papers of Milton Erickson and/or Therapeutic Conversations." Most of the books on Ericksonian Therapy, edited by Jeff Zeig, have articles written by Dr. Gilligan. Ericksonian Monograph Number 7, edited by Stephen Lankton has an article. ;) On the Milton H. Erickson Foundation website is a review of "The Courage to Love. I did not look at past issues of the newsletter, but I would not be surprised if there are other reviews. I would look on his website to see if there are any leads on what you are looking for. I hope this helps. Best wishes, Joe O'Rourke |
