ADHD: On the Left?
EG & D: I'm having a great time with The Wisdom Paradox...thank you for it. More later!
Meanwhile, I came across a piece by Barbara Geller (noted child psychiatrist) that summarizes a comparison between atomoxetine and ritalin, one that is consistent with your L/R ideas... Geller's remarks are at: http://psychiatry.jwatch.org/cgi/con...ull/2008/414/1 I also have some observations on the Evolutionary Psych Forum... JimB |
Re: ADHD: On the Left?
I think this has merit.
I am able to (partially) move out of my ADD by doing things (like exercise or meditation or even dance) that make me feel more connected to my whole body. I suspect that this would also tend to activate / balance my whole brain (counterbalance the hemispheric imbalance you are describing in ADD). |
