Do you use assessments?
I have recently begun marketing an assessment tool for use by mental health professionals and have been surprised at the number of psychotherapists who do not do much assessment with their clients. I am convinced that knowing your patient's “Psychological Vital Signs†is as important for counselors as physical vital signs are for M.D.s.
Do you use assessment tools? If not, why not? Joni L QPASS: The Quick Psycho-Affective Symptoms Scan QPASS has been found to be an accurate measure not only of depression, anger and anxiety, but other constructs as well, such as global psychopathology, or overall psychological distress. QPASS is available only for use by mental health professionals and researchers. More information, such as QPASS’ psychometric properties is available at http://www.qpasslive.com . |
