Call for suggestions and collaboration
Dear colleagues, future colleagues or people interested in psychology,
I say hello to your friendly community! :) I'm 24 years old; I live in Moldova (Europe) and have master and BA degree in psychology. Recently I have opened a psychological clinic. It is quite a brave way to start a career. Although I've been working as a lecturer in the University for a year, but this is still not enough I feel. It came out that psychotherapy is not that popular and profitable in the region. I'm very good with numbers, statistics, and computers so I mixed up the therapy practice with some statistical services and testing etc. The last activities came out to be much more profitable at the moment and I could continue developing the psychotherapy service of my clinic (center). My request for you is - if you need some statistical help, you are making a research or some kind of work, do write me and we would help each other. My statistics expertise is - - SPSS (Statistical Program for Social Sciences) knowledge; - All kinds of central tendencies – mean, median, mode; - Bravais-Pearson, Spearman and Chi-square correlation; - T-Student, Mann-Whitney, Wilcoxon criteria; - Anova method; - Everything related to null (Ho) and alternative (Hs) hypotheses, level of significance (probability), deg-freedom (df) etc. If you have some other ideas regards how can I realize my dream of making a leaving out of therapy practice, or you have other work proposal, do write me too. My other purpose of this post is to find a place or people to discuss some of their practical cases or mine. I don't have a supervisor, maybe some of you too, or you just feel like needing more ideas that your supervisor can come with. So I wish to find a place to discuss things that I mentioned, but this will happen as soon as I settle down things with my clinic's profit/loss balance. I am looking forward to your opinion, please, let me know if you are interested! Sincerely, William |
