Hypnotherapy Training in Sacramento with Steve Lankton
 

I wanted to let everyone know about an upcoming comprehensive hypnotherapy training program with Stephen Lankton, MSW, DAHB in Sacramento, California.

This comprehensive hypnotherapy training is unique because it will take place over 1 weekend per month for ten months (total of 20 days and 130 hours). The first 5 weekends of the training will cover induction techniques, assessment and treatment planning, metaphor, trance phenomena, the use of direct suggestion and association, and other foundation topics. The final 5 weekends will cover work with specific client issues, including trauma, anxiety, phobias, panic attacks, depression, pain control, and couples work using Mr. Lankton’s unique Ericksonian hypnotherapy protocols. During the last 5 weekends, Mr. Lankton will work with clients in live sessions. The training group will be limited to 20 - 30 participants in order to enhance group cohesiveness and to allow for extensive “hands-on” practice. This training is eligible for 130 hours of CEUs: CEUs provided for PSY (APA cat.1), MFT, MSW, and MHC, from the ‘Ericksonian Training Seminars.’ Provider # BAP-11-exp. 3/2009; and Provider #PCE-16, exp. Apr. 2008; Florida Dept. of Professional Regulation. The hours also count towards the certification program for the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis for all eligible professionals (check www.asch.net for eligibility requirements).

The training will be held at the University of San Francisco satellite campus in Sacramento, California (the training is not affiliated with the university). The training schedule is as follows: June 23-24, July 28-29, Aug 18-19, Sep 15-16, Oct 20-21, Nov 10-11, (Dec no dates), Jan 12-13 (2008), Feb 9-10 (2008), Mar 22-23 (2008), and Apr 19-20 (2008). The cost will be $2,500 per participant (approximately $19 per hour).
