First EMDR Training for DOD Professionals
 

The Department of Defense has just provided the first EMDR training for mental health professionals that treat active duty military personnel and their families. Although the Veterans Administration has used EMDR for many years, the DOD has been a late arrival to EMDR usage. This development is likely to have a positive impact on the PTSD problems of personnel returning from combat.
