The attachment subscale of the SPS predicts CES-D scores (Hawkins et al., 1999). The ISEL has a self–esteem subscale that corresponds to the reassurance of worth dimension from the SPS that also predicts CES-D scores, but the ISEL version may be operationally redundant with the CES-D (Schonfeld, 1991).
