Excellent points from both of you. I would only respond to the part in Alex's post about women waiting to have a career established. While 35 may be pushing the DNA safety zone, most people are able to get a high school diploma, and an associate's or bachelor's degree by their early 20's. I see no reason for an individual to HAVE to have a child before they reach their own educational milestones, or that this should even be condoned. Teenagers want to do alot of things they aren't ready for; sex is just one of them. Biology not withstanding, the fact is that our society is truly too complex to not be prepared to raise a child.
