Again, I am not saying that sex is bad- I do not subscribe to biblical puritanism. But I reiterate, that sex can be harmful for those that are not mature enough to handle the consequences,both physically and emotionally, and I think very few, if any, teens are mature enough. Are you going to tell you teen, "listen, I think you are mature enought that if you decide that drinking alcohol is something you are mature enough to handle, then you just go ahead. I'll be here to pick up the pieces if you get into trouble."? They need to learn how to develop a relationship with someone, and sex too often cuts that short, and creates a false sense of closeness. I think it's time that we as a society got off this "if it feels good, do it" highhorse.
