I was reading about online therapy and the future it holds. Part of the discussion dwelled on how the internet actually lacked the 'face-to-face' element. Doesn't it help to understand the client better when you can observe the client and speak directly to him or her? Does most online therapy remain purely online or is it incorporated with meeting sessions most frequently? Is it more efective? And there was an article regarding how email has a therapuetic effect? How does anyone judge this to be so? Hmm,.... I was just curious about how online therapy could actually work and whether it will be more effective or the 'future' of therapy...... I still find it a bit hard to imagine or visualize. I hope someone can enlighten me.... :P
