It's not as simple as that. How about the unlicensed therapists out there? For example, the addictions counselors who are certified by state and national certification bodies? Their credentials are valid wherever they are working. And many therapists provide "life coaching" online rather than therapy because of the potential liability. It's a complicated field. And clients love online therapy -- I've been asked to provide it a number of times. But, alas, I cannot. I'm simply not cyber-smart enough.
