Ethical considerations in cyber psychological consultation

In the absence of guidelines specifically directed at computer networks or E mail -- I assume that relevant ethical decisions about telephone consultation and correspondence consultations would apply. Has anyone reviewed how standards or cases involving phone or "snail mail" practice might translate to cyberspace?
