All this debate about the efficacy of EMDR has not been helpful to those of us who are searching for answers. I hold out hope that EMDR can help me because ALL other forms of therapy, including medication, have failed me. EMDR is really my last chance. I don't have blind faith in it but want to give it time before I come to any conclusions. There is substantial evidence that traditional talk therapy helps many clients. Anti-depressants have proven to be highly effective for patients. But both have failed me miserably. Please stop the bickering and offer insight for those who are struggling to find answers. Thanks.
