I, too, was abused as a child. I have probably gone through the same concerns and worries that you are now experiencing. IT IS NOT EASY! First thing - talk to someone you trust. Someone you can confide in. There is a lot of stuff penned up inside you that needs to come out. I am not sure if I am the person you need to talk to. Instead, someone who knows you and can listen to your concerns, worries, and how the abuse is affecting you today. Sweetheart, it lasts a lifetime - the effects of abuse that is. But it is possible to go on in life and live a respectable and productive life, especially if you can find a spouse who knows your secrets and can share himself with you totally.
