It's a very interesting topic, Martin, though I'd be very careful about playing the role of a misbehaving user in order to see how people react. Many online communities are VERY sensitive about researchers "sneaking in" to study them, and may be very annoyed at the idea of a researcher deliberately trying to provoke reactions. This is not an easy topic to study under strict experimental conditions, unless you want to set up your own community/laboratory where you invite people to participate (informed consent is important as an ethical standard). Another approach would be to hang out in communnities, observe the reactions that people have to deviant behavior, and interview members of the community.
