I'm a junior college student writing an article on the term of internet intoxication. To my knowledge the idea is that a person once online chatting or e-mailing at random has the urge to lie or extend one's beliefs. I guess what I'm asking is if this is a normal reaction of individuals that patrol around cyberspace all day just chatting with people from around the world or if this type of activity is due to a mental reaction? I realize this question isn't presented all that well but I'm not sure exactly how to explain what i'm looking for. If anyone can provide me with an insite to what they believe this internet intoxication to mean or if they know of anyone who reacts strangely to the internet I would be greatful. Thank you.....
