First of all if anyone is chatting it up on the internet all day, they have some severe social problems. I believe that anyone is subject to this internet intoxication because our self-esteems are not perfect, but if they are lying or exagerating facts online frequently then they have deeper issues than just continual lying. It is possible that they have some sort of identity problem because they pretend to be someone they are not, or they could just be seeking attention in other places besides the places they are not getting it from.
