a clinical ward is not a place to see D.I.D. I have not read the books you mention but i am sure they do not tell some how to become a 2month old and lose total controll of there body. Yes i know some people make it up and act but some and i would say don't. I am not a proffessional yet but i hope one day to be simple so these people have a place to turn and in a hope to find away to change the attitude of people like your self. I am no longer with the partner who had D.I.D but i still believe with all my heart that it was and is real. I strongly disagree with what you say
Your view that it does not exsist is so harmful.i lived with someone with D.I.D for 5years. The fight to get help was a long one because of views such as yours.
These people fear they are losing there mind. Have you not looked at the new research into the brain pattern of people with this dissorder. Scientific proof that this condition exsists.
Even those who do act are crying out for help, do you not agree with that. What have these people been though to bring them to this point and now they are not believed.
If you have worked with people with this disorder surely you know the damage what your saying will course.
