The San Francisco Psychotherapy Research Group Presents: The 13th Annual International March Workshop with Joseph Weiss, M.D. Harold Sampson, Ph.D. February 28 - March 4, 2000 Workshop Fees: SFPRG This intensive week-long workshop presents the theory, research and clinical applications developed over the past 20 years by Joseph Weiss, M.D., Harold Sampson, Ph.D., and members of the San Francisco Psychotherapy Research Group. There will be classes for both beginning and returning participants. o In each morning session, participants will learn the basic concepts of Control-Mastery Theory and how these concepts illuminate the patient's psychology and the therapeutic process. Participants will use verbatim transcripts and their own process notes to study how psychotherapy works. o In afternoon sessions, participants may choose among seminars covering a variety of topics including Case Conferences on Child, Family, Couples, and Adult Therapy, Dreams, Comparative Theory and Technique in Psychotherapy, plus many others. Participants are invited and encouraged to present their own cases. This year, for the first time we are adding a Saturday Symposium, which will be devoted to presentations on Control-Mastery research from Europe. o Participants will also have the opportunity to have an individual case consultation with a Control-Mastery therapist at no additional cost. This workshop is pending approval by the CPAAA for up to 30 hours of Mandatory Continuing Education Credit for Psychologists (provider #SAN107). The course meets the qualifications for 30 hours of Continuing Education credit for MFCCs and LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (Board approval #PCE104). The course is also pending approval for CME credit for physicians as sponsored by the University of California School of Medicine at San Francisco (UCSF). UCSF is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).
