Reading Stephen's account, I understand why Jessica was ironic about Joseph being an easy case. Joseph is fortunate that Stephen keeps attention on the positives, since Joseph sets up situations in which he could be treated badly, whether or not he adds apologies. I am writing for clarification, however. In the second paragraph, it seems as if the neighbor asked Joseph to take the check to the bank. In the fifth paragraph, it seems that Joseph volunteered to take the check. Also, the connection between the two neighbors and Joseph is not clear to me. That must be quite a tale of a year and a half of work for us to look forward to.
