Besides Ritalin they have been cranking out prescriptions for SSRI's, again what good does this do for the patient who hasn't been evaluated by a psychologist or psychiatrist?
It becomes a "temporary band-aid", which unfortunately delays "real treatment". Let GP's take care of their end of medicine, let the psychiatrists and/or psychologists take care of theirs. . .the mind.
