Case Conference Revitalized
May 25, 1999
A new case, THE CASE OF JOSEPH, has just begun. The presentation is by Stephen Kusch, Ph.D, who is a colleague of Jessica Broitman and a member of the San Francisco Psychotherapy Study Group. Professional psychotherapists and those in graduate training for that role may join in discussion of the new case at: /clinicalconference.html
This Conference studies a series of clinical cases from several theoretical perspectives: Affect Theory, Classical Adlerian Psychotherapy, Cognitve Therapy, Control Mastery Theory and Self Psychology. Our purpose is to examine these theoretical orientations as they are employed in practice by master clinician/teachers of each orientation:
Affect Theory: Donald Nathanson, M.D., Vick Kelly, M.D.
Control Mastery Theory: Jessica Broitman, Ph.D.
Cognitive Therapy: James Pretzer, Ph.D.
Gestalt Therapy: Michael Vincent Miller
Psychoanalysis: Johanna Tabin, Ph.D
Self Psychology: Ernest Wolf, M.D.
Cases previously discussed in this conference are now available in archival form at: /clinicalconference.html
