In the Clinical Case Conference, presentation of the case of "Gary" is now complete. A new case, "The Transformation of Kathy" has begun. Presentation by Polly Bloomberg-Fretter and Jessica Broitman of the San Francisco Psychotherapy Research Group. Comments by Vick Kelly, Donald Nathanson, James Pretzer, Johanna Tabin, Ernest Wolf. The Conference, which is visited by more 1000 people monthly, is open to professional therapists and to graduate students preparing for that role. Coming in March: a new forum by James Spira on "Meditation in Psychotherapy".
Affect Theory Renovations
Don Nathanson and his colleagues have extensively revised and augmented the Silvan Tompkins Institute web site with a rich selection of articles from The Bulletin of The Tomkins Institute and information about its international Network of Study Groups and other new material.
