Autumn Changes

September 9, 1996

With the surge of energy that comes with the approach of Autumn, we have made a number of changes at Behavior Online, some large, some subtle.

Our Homepage has been revised and consolidated. The Continuing Education Calendar has been discontinued. Those who wish to announce courses and professional meetings are invited and encouraged to use our forum discussion areas for that purpose. Many more people visit the forums than visited the Calendar, so there should be little lost and something gained by this change.

We have added a new forum on Organizational Development and discontinued several inactive forums. We are in the process of renovating the forum on Behavioral Assessment. Ellen Dornelas has joined Steven Locke as facilitatior. Other new forums are under development.

The Clinical Case Conference continues to be our most popular feature, though the number of writers is a tiny percentage of the number of readers. The current case, that of "Harold Payne" is underway with Donald Nathanson as presenter and Jessica Broitman, Henry Stein, and Vick Kelly as expert commentators. If you are a psychotherapist, or are in training for this professional role, I cordially invite you to participate in the Conference and I encourage you to contribute your comments and questions.
