OUR FIELD OF DREAMS

We built it and you came! The initial response to Behavior OnLine has exceeded even its editors' high expectations by a wide margin. So much so that at times our computers have found it hard to keep up with the load. That's fixed for now, but in this quirky Net environment nothing is fixed permanently. So please bear with us during periods of high traffic and the inevitable glitches.

You have made your presence felt by writing us literally hundreds of e-mail messages, by becoming charter members in growing numbers and by testing the waters of our forum discussions and other interactive features. We are already receiving high praise on other Web sites and accolades from Web rating services. I'll save the horn-tooting for another editor's note.

I intend to use this corner to orient newcomers and to highlight new and coming developments in this community space. One of the things that fascinates me about Behavior OnLine is the way it changes continuously as your contributions shape it. I encourage you to become active in the forums, write me and to become a member. Now we have our field and together we are inventing the game to be played on it.
