Talking Dead Cats and Cross-Over

"The liberation of the human mind has been best furthered by…fellows who throw dead cats in sanctuaries." H. L. Mencken.

"Cross-over" in genetics is a process in which chromosomes exchanges sequences of DNA and may give offspring a chance to inherit assets from both parents. There are examples of genetic tactics in human politics.

1) Republicans recently swarmed in Ohio and in Texas to vote in Democrat primaries. The rationalization was to keep Hillary as a contender because she will bloody up Barack more effectively than could be done by an old white Republican male. This gambit replicated that of Democrats in New Hampshire who crossed over and voted for McCain, perhaps to sabotage Romney's campaign for President. (Ann Coulter, of course, is Ann Coulter and crossed over to support Hillary because McCain is a progressive liar.)

2) Frederick Douglass remarked (somewhere!) that rights for women would have to wait on rights for blacks because more blacks had been lynched. The shameless girls, however, jumped ahead in line and affirmative action appears to have benefited white women more than black males. Dinichism continues! (Coss & Charles, 2004) In the current Democrat primaries, a white woman spars with a black male in order to be the first minority elected President. (The Republicans - a sad, often boring lot - can choose to be insensitive to a black or to a woman. (Who WAS Rick Lazio?)

This morning (3/6/08), Bill Bennett noted that Hillary's experience is not much greater than Barack's when it comes to red telephones and but is far greater, older, and more lucrative than his when it comes to misrepresentation and scandal. Red telephones, after all, have lots of uses! Barack, therefore, ought to counter-punch her where she's vulnerable. A black caller, however, to Bennett's show explained that black males are not allowed to attack white women. "This is something that only a black male would understand."

One dead cat in this sanctuary is the fact of Obama's white mother and his claim to be "black." He really has a choice to be as abusive to white women as is alleged for white males. Instead, he gains black followers while she courts white females.

There are other cats to throw but Coulter or Steyn will have to throw them...
